My name is Jeanne Hendricks. I’m a Nurse Anesthetist, Mom, and a Democrat for U.S. Congress in Minnesota’s 6th. I’m running to defeat NRCC Chair, GOP U.S. Rep., and Trump loyalist Tom Emmer.

The Republican Leadership in Washington, DC continues to lie to Americans, including GOP U.S. Rep. Tom Emmer, who stated that the January 6th insurrection was just “legitimate political discourse.” Really?!

As a Nurse, I make decisions for my patients based on facts and science. Our Democracy must be treated the same.

I believe the number one issue in 2022 is defending our Democracy. We need people to stand up, volunteer, register to vote, and get involved at all levels to defend our Democracy. Together, we will protect it against all who wish to do it harm.

I’ll fight for Minnesotan family values, quality health care, jobs that pay a living wage, and affordable homes for every Minnesotan in an environment with clean air and water in the land of 10,000 lakes.

Our workers deserve a living wage. I will partner with Labor Unions, local small businesses, and community leaders to make this a reality.

Families need to have affordable health care and that is why we must fix the Affordable Care Act and lower prescription drug prices.

Climate change is real and protecting our environment must be a priority.

I will fight to codify Roe v. Wade into law ensuring that a woman’s right to make healthcare decisions about her own body is upheld no matter what. If the Supreme Court thinks that they can turn the clocks back without a fight, they are sorely mistaken.

I’m a Minnesotan through and through. My parents taught me the values of hard work, honesty, and doing the right thing. Now more than ever we need these same Minnesotan values in the U.S. Congress.
